John commenced his career in 1991 with Ernst & Young, initially in Taxation Consulting Services. While in
this role, he was involved in the provision of various specialist taxation services and advice across a wide range of industries.

He later transferred to the Litigation Consulting Services division within Ernst & Young. John was
appointed to the position of manager while in this division and was an integral member of the team during its growth phase. He was involved in a wide range of litigation and other services including:
· Due diligence investigations · Personal Injuries
· Commercial Loss · Family Law Valuations
· Commercial Valuations · Financial Investigations
· Fraud · Preparation of business plans
· Financial and cashflow forecasting · Salary Packaging.

In 1996, John commenced employment with Heller Business Finance. Initially based in Sydney, he was appointed as
one of the two Australian business analysts. While in this role, he performed in excess of 200 due diligence business reviews on current and prospective clients from an extremely wide range of
industries, locations and sizes.

He was then appointed to the position of Queensland Portfolio Manager responsible for the management of the
Queensland portfolio. This required an intimate knowledge of the clients’ businesses, their industry and the effects of the prevailing economic and business environment.

In 1998, John commenced employment with the Newman Group, a client of Heller Business Finance, consisted of
four trading businesses and two investment companies. As Finance Director and Commercial Manager, John was responsible for the management of the Brisbane operations and the finance, accounting and
administration functions of the Group.

His role also incorporated the responsibility for streamlining the existing operations and identifying
opportunities in the marketplace that would enhance the Group.
|
In February 2000, John incorporated Forensic Accounting Services Pty Ltd (“FAS”). FAS is a company
specialising in the provision of expert accounting evidence.

John has extensive experience and expertise in providing litigation support and in the preparation of reports
in the following areas: · Quantification of damages for commercial litigation including:
- Misleading & Deceptive Conduct
- Breach of Contract -Commercial Loss.
· Calculation of Economic Loss for - Personal Injury matters
- Business Interruption.
· Business and entity valuations, for both family law and commercial purposes
· Financial investigations including fraud · Reports as to solvency
· Due diligence reviews. In addition, John has held the appointment of statutory trustee and appeared as an Expert Witness in the Magistrates
Court and the Supreme Court of Queensland.
